Synthetic Complex Inorganic. Zinc Iron Chromite Brown Spinel (Zn,Fe)(Fe,Cr)2O4 is made by the high temperature calcining of a mixture of Zinc (II) Oxide, Iron (II) Oxide, Iron (III) Oxide, and Chromium (III) Oxide in varying ratios to create a crystalline spinel matrix.
